Made from an upcycled vintage Maru obi this fabric is woven with a pair of Tsuru (cranes) which represent a happy marriage.  This outdoor scene has shrines and temples as well as Matsu (pine needles), signifying longevity and wisdom, Yama (mountains) an inspiration to overcome life’s challenges, Seigaiha (waves) the ebb and flow of life and Momiji (Japanese maple) signifying rejuvenation and resilience.
